As we continue in the merger process we are now up to the point of merging using technology.

We now have a new website. The 2 old parish websites have been combined and reset into this new one. If you go to the old sites it will automatically forward you to this one.

By sept we will shut down the old ones completely. Check out the new site and let us know what you think.

We will soon be doing the same thing with the two parish Facebook pages. If you go on Facebook now you will note they have the exact same name with mostly the same pics and posts. The live streams are different. We are working with Facebook to completely merge the two. When that happens we will put up a note on one that forwards you your the other one and eventually shut down the unused one. We are working over the summer to archive pictures and data so we don’t lose them in the process then we will move forward.

We are merging our phone system. Very soon it will not matter which rectory you call you will be calling both. This is due to the internet and paid upgrades to our phone system. You will not notice but when you soon call we will be able to transfer you from one property to the other just like you pick up one extension in the bedroom and one in the living room for the same call. The voice mail will also be on a cloud and everyone’s extension will be able to be reached at the same time. If you call Incarnation’s rectory and no one is there to pick up the call will also go to St. Gerard to be picked up, and vice versa.

All of this is to centralize communication and help us serve the people of God easier. But remember these things take time and money to do so please be patient and help us in the weekly collection.
